Concordia Global now offers the Diploma in Translation and the Diploma in Interpretation (DTI) to a diverse set of students. Such is undeniably our way to become strategic – and greatly increases our potential impact on the 21st century education that requires an advanced, unique skill set which nonetheless is often viewed as non-core.

The DTI (Diploma of Translation and Interpretation) Program is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and introduce skills for bilingual individuals to explore the possibility of pursuing a professional career as a translator and/or interpreter. Students will work through an intensive eight weeks of translation, interpretation, and presentations to enhance their bilingual skills as well as creating a stronger basis for English. Graduates of the course will have the necessary skills to begin their career in the interpretation and translation field as they will be able to approach English in a new perspective. Valuable experiences earned from the DTI program will become a great asset for one to have in any career.

This year 2012, the Diploma of Translation and Interpretation courses will be offered in the Philippines  through the Concordia International College in Business and Development. Partner schools are already anticipating more enrollees  in the program as majority of their students can speak  two or more languages  fluently.
