CIC Newsletter Volume 17 – Department of Education

Change starts with the unified vision on “Education for All”.
The Department of Education –  Angeles City and Concordia International College
in the Philippines  are dedicated in ending the high drop out rates  of school
children by  empowering the school leavers, the marginalized and deserving  as part
of the solution. The multilateral approach supports the Department of Education  in
addressing the “non- drop out” driven advocacy for the  next generation.

This project starts the meaningful  change through strategic partnerships , grassroots
activism and the community all led by the vision toward “Education for All”.
Concordia Global  delivers a challenging and transformational educational experience
to a deliberately-diverse cross section of students from  the City of Angeles
in the Philippines.

The partnership between Concordia and the Department of Education has been sealed
during the signing of  the Memorandum of Agreement in July 17, 2013 at the

DepED office in Angeles City.

This worthwhile collaboration is  aimed  “to zero in the dropout rate”  through the
E-Learning program of Concordia  as an Alternative Delivery Mode in education.
Concordia International College  shall
 design a domain  in its
Online Learning Management System – OLMS for the official encoding of student
enrolment data and for its financial monitoring system, thereby providing huge
technical support.

Congratulations to Concordia Global  and to the Department of Education!
