Concordia interviewed YOSHIAKI, who studied abroad on June 14, 2021.
Why did you decide to enter Concordia International University?
Luckily, I got to know this university while I was thinking about studying abroad. Because I thought that if I could graduate from college in two years, I would be freer to do what I wanted to do in the remaining two years.
Have you ever had a hard time arriving in Canada because of the Corona disaster?
It took a lot of time to prepare documents and so on.
How was your time at the hotel?
“It’s good to be able to use my time freely, but I’m a little free because I can’t leave the room, so I think it would be nice if there were books and DVDs that I could kill time.”
How was your homestay?
I’m with my host family, but I can’t talk to them during isolation, but I get used to it because it’s only the first two weeks.
The class has started. How does the class go? How difficult is it?
professor tell me in detail what I have to do. The class goes on while listening to polite explanations, so I can follow them smoothly. Sometimes the assignment is complicated, but whenever I ask a question, the professor always answers it, so I can say that you don’t understand it at all.
After sightseeing in Canada, was there any place you liked or different from Japan?
I really like it because I can feel nature. I like English Bay because I can hang out with many people and relax.
Finally, why did you choose Coventry University?
I decided from the beginning after listening to introducing Coventry. This is because this university has a high ranking, employment rates, student satisfaction, and good support.
