GIS Culinary Kids
HELP & GIS believes that learning how to cook can give children a sense of accomplishment and self-reliance, boosting their self-esteem. In a classroom environment, learning how to cook will also teach them how to work well with others, a skill that will be useful for years to come. Ultimately, the young students not only learn how to cook by reading and following recipes, they’ll learn safe food-handling procedures, what ingredients work well together, how to develop their own recipes, and proper etiquette in the kitchen and at the table – a lesson that nearly any parent will appreciate.
