BHMS Seminar in Longlong

Last Monday, 8th of May 2017, BHMS held a seminar on Hospitality Business Management in HELP Longlong Campus, Baguio City.

The guest speaker; Mr. Giovanni Rebai of BHMS Marketing Department, has presented a great opportunity for those learners who are aspiring a career in hospitality and hotel, culinary, or global business. The seminar was held to help our students to understand the benefits of a world-class Swiss education provider and find out more about BHMS’ fast-track academic & paid practical training programs.

Career choices by students are always being influenced by money, parents, family members, society and peers. These always expose them to wrong choices or career mismatch. Through this seminar, students were given an opportunity to talk and think over. Students always look for an avenue like this to open up the problems they are facing in their academic pursuit and choosing career paths to follow. The BHMS seminar provided an opportunity for them to interact and mingle with other students and exchange opinions, perceptions and ideas on career choice-making.

This HELP Pathway program equips the student with an academic qualification that is attractive to potential employers; the skills and abilities to enter the working world. More so, as a partner Institution of B.H.M.S University Centre, students in HELP can earn Bachelors Degree in Business and Hotel Management School for a duration of 1 Year, provided with 6 Months Paid Internship. A similar education in another Swiss hotel management school would require 24 months of study plus a 12 month internship period. This gives BHMS graduates an advantage of studying 6 months less while gaining 6 additional months of paid work experience in Switzerland.
