Concordia signs contract with Edunation; Witnessed by ambassador

Last October 5th 2018, a contract was signed between David E. Kang, CEO of Concordia International University (CIU) and Tuomas Kauppinen, Director and co-Founder of Edunation, Finland. The event was attended and witnessed by Eero Sumominen, the ambassador of Finland. The partnership agreed to the following terms:

           Student Recruitment for Finnish Universities
Academic Development by both institutes that could benefit the students
Marketing for Finland nation
Sharing of resources for mutual benefits of both institutions
Student career path and Finnish residence visa after graduation

Finland have recently opened its door to International students by increasing new student capacity to 150,000 in Finnish universities as well as establishment of 150,000 jobs across the country. The country also provides 12 months job hunting visa post-graduation and foreign students have opportunity to request for EU residency after 4 1/2years (including study period) of their residence records in Finland.

Working directly with Edunation, Concordia was placed as an official Korean recruitment representative for 11 universities in Finland. Concordia intends to place Finland as final destinations for many students coming from Korea and establishes to promote the country and its education system.
