Concordia visits PSB Academy in Singapore

What’s up?

On August 25, 2016, Concordia International University Vice President, met with PSB Academy representatives in Singapore to discuss a potential partnership with them regarding Concordia’s Pathway Programs for business administration degree programs and MBA programs. The representatives from PSB Academy included Dr. Sam Choo Yin, Head of School of Business and Communication; Jothy Narayanan, Head of School of English and Education; Welly Vivian, Manager of Local Student Recruitment; and July Han, Executive of International Student Recruitment.

Why partner with PSB Academy?

PSB Academy has been known to provide diverse opportunities for students to succeed and some of the best universities in the world recognize their certificate and diploma programs. Some of their achievements with their partner colleges and universities include program certifications from EduTrust Certification, Singapore; Singapore Association for Private Education; European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS); The Association of MBAs (AMBA); and Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), United Kingdom.

PSB Academy also has a huge network spanning Asia and their brand of education is present in places in China (Changchun, Chongqing, Wuxi, and Xinjiang) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City).

Why is this important for Concordia?

The significance of this event is that, through a successful partnership with PSB Academy, we would be able to offer more programs, diplomas to postgraduate diplomas, from many other universities, such as The University of Nottingham, University of London, The University of Newcastle Australia, and a lot more. And this increase in our courses and partner institutions will only result in an increase in the number of our prospective students.
