Concordia College of Benguet Senior High School Student Orientation
Concordia College of Benguet held its first orientation convocation for the 1st Semester SY 2017-2018 last September 7 and 8 at the AVR from 9:00 am to 12: 00 am.
The purpose of the first day orientation were: first to introduce to the students to their class advisers, the staff and faculty members of CCB and second, to welcome students and familiarize them with administrative policies of CCB as an institution particularly on admission policies and requirements, registration, payment of tuition fees, library policies, student services such as food, and transportation and other school policies that they have to comply with while they are within the institution.
Speakers for these areas were: Mrs. Carmen Dolinta, Registrar, Ms. Joan Dalapus, Finance Staff, Ms Helen Alis, Admissions Staff for admission guidelines and finally, Mrs. Meling Solis, Librarian, for the library rules and regulation.
For the second part of the first day orientation, the principal discussed on some DepEd Policies on SHS Curriculum, Grades and the Voucher Program.
On the second day of the opening of classes, August 8, 2017 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, the SAO officer Mr. Cecilio Gallardo discussed policies on student uniform / haircut, attendance in classes, grading system, student behavior and discipline in the classroom and within the school premises, policies regarding attendance in school, attendance in school and student activities and other matters that concern them.
During the open forum, students asked questions and clarification regarding the topics presented to them.
After the two day orientation convocation, students attended their classes for the orientation of their subject matter, class requirements and policies of the subject teacher. Classes had regularly started within the first week.
