CIC joins the WCCI Conference
CIC President Violeta Jerusalem and other CIC staff attended the 2-day WCCI* Conference Student Chapter last May 2012 held at the Colegio San Juan de Letran. There were around 200 participants composed of College and University Presidents, Owners, Administrators and Faculty.
The Conference theme is Climate Change Education and Global Peace. The Keynote Speakers were Dr. Estela Matriano WCCI Executive Director and a Professor at Alliant International University at San Philippines Diego California USA; Senator Loren Legarda; Gina Lopez, Managing Director of ABS-CBN Foundation and Sonia Mendoza, Chair – Mother Earth Foundation, Phils.
* WCCI is a transnational educational organization committed to advancing the achievement of a just and peaceful world community through collaboration and instructional projects. It is a non-government organization (NGO) of the United Nations in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Dr. Jerusalem appointed as TOP Director
CIC President Violeta Jerusalem was recently appointed as Director of TOP (Teachers Organization of the Philippines) and will serve her term from years 2012-2015. The appointment was done at the Department of Education Main Office in Pasig City.
“I am honored to be appointed as the TOP Director. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the people who believe in my potential and will do my best to serve the organization and help accomplish its goals” said Dr. Jerusalem.

TESDA certifies Teacher Daph
CIC Philippines Alumni and Teacher Daphne Estanislao recently earned her TESDA Certification on (name of course) after successfully completing a one-month rigorous training at the Technical Education Development Authority.
